To open it up to a broader range of people, it was also ported over to Linux and MacOS and it was given a new polished UI.

Here you can find any files that have been made available to the public. Note that not all Tunefish versions are compatible. Major versions are never compatible, so do not attempt to upgrade a TF2 version with TF3.

Compiling on Windows
Compile using Visual Studio 2015. Solution can be found in/src/tunefish4/Builds/VisualStudio2015

Install them using:
run make in directory/src/tunefish4/Builds/LinuxMakefile
Running
Copy the tunefish4.dll/.so/.component/vst (depending on platform) to your desired plugins directory. Run your sequencer.

This synth is the best if You program Your own sounds, because the included presets do not show all the capabilities of this incredibly good sounding softsynth. But if You know how to make sounds with this it is great.

Sounds great but beware! As of now, Tunefish4 has issues with saving its settings with your DAW project. It may help to push 'Save' in the patch manager area for each instance before closing the DAW. See forum for KVR OSC#89.

Update: Version 4.1. was released in July 2017. Sound remains exceptionally good. Also, it is nice that inactive modules in the GUI are greyed out now. Patches now seem to be saved properly with the FL studio .flp file. However, patches created in .fpx format in V4.0.1 (via the FL Studio Wrapper) are not loaded at all into V4.1., whereas if the patch was saved in .fst format in V4.0.1, it also works in V4.1. Save and Restore functions inside the Tunefish4.1 GUI remain idiosyncratic: There are 1000 preset slots. When pressing the Save button, the current configuration is saved into the currently selected slot, overriding any settings previously stored in there without warning, even if it was a factory preset. There is no automatic prompting for a new name and upon the next opening of the VST, the changes remain. If you would like to modify a preset while keeping the original, first Copy the preset using the Copy button, then select an open slot (INIT xxx) and paste using the Paste button. Rename the new slot by clicking inside the name field, then start modifying and save. If you made changes to a preset but want to go back to the stored configuration without saving changes, press the Restore button and the stored configuration is re-loaded.

Amazing plugin, especially for a free one! The modulation possibilities are great and unique. As someone who loves to work with quite the deal of saw sounds in his music, this is ideal for making anything from a shy, analogue sounding lead to big trance leads, pads and strings. Big ups from me, definitely recommending this! I can hardly believe this is fee.
